News and In the News...
Hi, everyone! First a thank you to Ms. Fabian for joining us last week. Come back anytime! Happy Earth Day, everyone. I have a bit of news to share. Blood Shield and I will soon be joining the other wonderful authors of Lyrical Press, Inc. More on that when I have a set release date.
In non-writing related news, I read a story that really disturbs me. Just a couple of states away from here, twenty-one polo horses died one right after the other putting an entire team out of competetion. I HATE the abuse and misuse of animals. I can't say enough about that, but the fact remains this CAN NOT have been some sort of accident. I am sickened and very sorry for the owners and caregivers of those majestic animals. From a writer's point of view, I think this was a mass poisoning to either 1. Knock the team out of the competition. 2. To get back at the owner of the team for some past wrong or current right. I hope the investigators find who commited this horrible, terrible crime. I'm a firm believer in reaping what you sow. I hope the punishment fits the crime.
On a happy note, my oldest daughter made JV cheerleader, after trying out three years in a row. My son turned fifteen and now has his permit. He wrecked my car the same day he got it. (no, he's fine and so is the car, sort of) I swear I've grown a head full of gray hairs in the last week. We are hoping to have our house remodel finished in time for my birthday. I've got my fingers crossed. Threes are lucky, right?
